R being weird and making THUD noise
so my car has sat in my garage for 2 weeks now here in Florida and tried to take her out but she wouldnt move in reverse. I then gave a lot of gas and this huge thud noise came from the tire area as it started to reverse. ebrake was down and nothing under the car. It almost felt as if the wheels were rusted and wouldnt move until i had to force it by giving extra gas. then it made weird grinding noise from the tire/brake area and would make a knocking noise when i was braking. After driving for a minute the noise stops. What do you guys think this is??
Did you look to see if there was any damage? Any rust on the rotors? Did you wash it before it was in the garage? If you washed it the water would have rusted on the rotors, could of just been seized.
classic Honda problem. your handbrake (e-brake) was stuck on and the calipers are probably a bit seized. take them off, pull the apart, clean them up and put them back on and they'll be fine.

That's exactly what I was thinking. If I wash mine and put in the garage and don't drive it for a while it will kind of "lock up" for a second before it breaks loose when I'm backing out. Not as bad as your describing though, pretty minimal.

My thought as well and probably lots of surface rust on the rotors it sounds like.

Actually I never washed my car before it went in the garage but I did drive it in the rain the day before she went in the garage!! I was also thinking it was the e brake problem too becasue during winter I put the ebrake down but the brake light would still be on. I think ill go clean my rotors as they do have slight rusting on them!!

It was def the pads stuck to the rotors, wouldnt worry about it.
