noise problem
i hear a noise coming from the driver side of the car, I'm not sure what it is but I think it's coming from the rear tire area....
I put the windows up and music down and listened for noise inside the coupe, but nothing was coming from directly inside, so i guess that voids out inside noise and engine bay noise am I right?
I then opened the window as I was driving and hear it from the driverside more efficiently. I figured it was the wheelbearing so after pulling the tire and disa-assembled the hude and stuff because I had to replace my axels anyway, my bearings looked fined.
I did more tests and Opened my door as I was driving and as my head was a little closer to the road i located the noise which sounds like its coming from the rear driverside tire area.
I then inspected the braking system in that area and found the rotor not to be cleaned, while performing any kind of braking the rotor should be cleaned, so it sounds as if my problem is a seized caliper because it is all rusty and coroded too, all other are fine though.
the noise seems to be lie ka whiney metal on metal scraping sound consistantly and its been getting louder n louder day by day, it is to the point i cannot drive it now cause its so embarasssing.
anybody know if I could rebuild this caliper or buy a new one and just replace it.
also if anybody could follow me up on a diagram or step to step procedure of caliper changing due to the fact i have never really did the work myself on calipers before, I wanna make sure I know what im doing.
thanks in advance.

This may be obvioius but, have you checked out the break bads in the rear? Because there is a metal piece that will begin to rub against the rotor when the break pads are worn. Just check it out. Make sure all the bolts on the caliper is on as well.
For example, my car was recently making a squeeking sound on the front driver side wheel. I inspected the pads and the pads looked fine. But to my surprise the 12mm bolt that bolts the bottom caliper was GONE. So I figured it was due to the misalignment of the caliper that would cause my wheel to squeel when rolling. Sometimes it wouldn't squeel at all. So I put in another 12mm bolt and so far so good. I may need to change the pads though if the squeeling still persists due to the uneven brake bad wear.
Goodluck
