Default Ls vtec problems coolant everywhere

well my build is a 2000 ls block with a 94-95 gsr head my motor is a turbo setup i no this is the all motor fourm but way more of you guys are lsvtec and all of the reading ive did so far has been from this fourm well thought i had it all setup and running fine untill i was checking over everthing and seen coolant leaking from the dizzy side its like right by the coolant bypass hose it looks like if i add water to the rad it will leak right from there so i am thinking the pipe plug is not down far enough ? i used a gsr head gasket thanks for the help

are both the ports off you thermo housing in use? when i put my motor together, i dont know if i mismatched years on some parts, but my thermo housing had an open port not being used that i had to plug.

also, i think the consensus is you should match the headgasket to the block not the head. but im not sure that will cause your issue.
