Default piston swap

I have a d15z1 vTech and a dohc d16zc and i wanted to bore the z1 to fit the zc pistons for higher compression and do a mini me swap with a z6 vTech head on the z1 but i need to know if the piston rods from the zc will work with the z1 crank and block.

i dont think they will cause of the crank size.
you be good though finding a d16a6 block then using the zc stuff in that

why use a a6 instead of turning the z1 into a d16z6?

ya the cranks wont fit.
also i did a compression check with a a6 block with the z6 internals and pistions. and its only 9.1 compression. maybe get a d15b7 block then youd be at higher compression

alright somebody needs to tell me how this website works, and what the light bulbs and stuff means, i can only have 5 posts every 24 hrs, why? but anyway im planning on turboing my dohc d16zc but i would like to know if i should use the pm7 pistons and rods(9.5:1) or replace them with something better, also i would like to know what the best camshafts would be to use in the jdm.
