Ok, putting a Y8 into an OBD1 converted CRX. Wiring wise, it's the same as putting a Y8 into an EG, so that's why I'm posting this here.

Y8/Y7 has the external crank sensor. Using an OBD2 dist, need to convert it into OBD1. Does anyone know if the OBD1 ECU (Will be tuned by me with Crome) will recognize the external crank sensor at all. IE, is everything the OBD1 computer needs in the OBD2 distributor or will I need to figure out how to wire up that external crank sensor. Everything I remember from doing an OBD2 -> OBD1 engine swap in my EK tells me I won't need to worry about the sensor, but I want to know if anyone can confirm that.

Next, does someone have the OBD2 alternator pinout handy? Also need the OBD0 pinout as well.

Also need the OBD2 - OBD1 distributur pinout if someone can link me. I am having trouble finding it.

Don't worry about the CKF sensor on the Y8.
