Going to look at a 2000 Si tomorrow!
What are some things to look out for when buying one? I cant believe its hard to find and un-molested civic these days...

make sure that the motor is not covered in oil and that the car runs through all the gears smoothly. Also drive the car long enough for the motor to get warm and make sure that it does not overheat. My friend bought an 00 si that had overheating problems and ended up having to change the head gasket and mild the head because of minor warping

Make sure the clutch is not slipping,the windows work well and the seals are in good condition,there are no leaks( duh)...also do a compression test on it if you can....
