Default z1 head on jdm d15b

will a d15z1 head work on a jdm d15b? and if it will, will it increas my gas mileage? because isnt the Z1 the more econimical 1.5?

believe so, get a po7 ecu, otherwise i dont think the lean burn mode would work the way as used for the stock z1.

read on a post in the del sol section that you can use a p28 also, can anyone confirm or disprove that?

both the p28 and the p07 will work, but i would use the p07 since the p07 is the ecu vtec and the correct fuel curve and such

well i already have a p28 lying around is the thing. this head is manely just a replacement so i can slowly rebuild the original jdm head i have and still have my daily driver, its gonna be a learning experience too. the thing i am worried most about is getting the timing right, cause i have never had to time anything other than my chevy small block. any forums you know of on timing basics so i dont [freak] my **** up? the timing belt i have will work with the z1 head right?
