turbo or n/a
ive got a 91 civic sedan dx, trying to figure out what to put in for go... i was told going turbo is not relaible way, i drive this car 40 miles on average a day. of couse fuel efficiency is key as well... then type-r motor was introduced, saying it can give me 200 ponies with 13 sec timeslips and good mpg's... well as far as cost for parts and install, looks to me n/a is better... although, ever since i was in the cayman islands driving a mitsu FTO (some what a cross between 3k gt and eclipse) i was always in love with hondas, then one day an evo pulled up next to me, my fto was pretty peppy, never was realy bothered by stock evos, but this was different.... green lit up and off we were, left him about 3/4 car length for about 5 sec.s then i heard his bov blow, then it was all over, he pulled so hard he was gone in a blink of an eye... then it hit me... the sound of that bov... can't forget it.... now here i am back in the U.S. think i want that feeling back, the sound of th bov and power combined in my simple yet beloved car...
so after typing all that drama, can anyone vouche for a reliable, cost efficient, evo spanking, dependable set-up? i need cost numbers and break down of what i need to achieve this.... please help me... ive always thought a gsr-turbo is my route with minimal boost, is this so?... thanks...

Not all turbo systems need to be radical. Read the FAQ in the FI forum. Heck look at this one example of a light turbo.
