Default *Loudest* High Psi BOV. Reccomend/Opinions

I dont know why, but the BOV has always been my favourite piece in a turbo kit.

My previous setup was a budget one at most, so I just picked up a $15 1g DSM.

Now Im finally financially stable and am almost complete on assembling the motor/turbo pieces

Whats left?

BOV!!

This BOV will see 16psi daily, and Im looking for the loudest BOV on the market for a street application.

Something that will make my hair stand on end and just make my day so much better. From what Ive read the turbo xs RFL and HKS SSQ seem to be loud.

Thanks

The RFL is easily audible inside a home if your within 100yards of the car, even greater distances apply. Lol. A guy in town drove a red mr2 turbo with one, and it was the loudest thing. What is stock boost on those motors? Probably not 16pounds, and it was still easily audible inside my home if he drove by. no way i couldn't tell that, "nick just drove by"

Mmmm, RFL.

Careful if you get a small turbo, it gets annoying when you get the full PSHHHH during normal driving. Mine will be for sale soon...

I think i'm going to get this RFL B.O.V. The louder the better besides the type H-RFL can hold 25 pounds of boost. I plan on running about 20 pounds. I also like
HKS B.O.V.

YES!!

I was hoping you guys would lead me to that answer.

I had a deal for $200 shipped for charge pipes with clamps n couplers and of course a Turbo XS RFL bov already mounted.

$200!!!

Thanks guys, to me its just the best part, Ive never even heard an aftermarket one in real life

The loudest bov for high boost is the turbonetics godzilla bov..
Its like $500 though.. and its made for very high boost.

RFL bovs leak at high boost and require added washers on top of the spring to stay shut...**** my friends talon had that bov and it was leaking at idle..

Another loud bov is turbosmart..

Weird. Usually my favorite part of a turbo kit has been the turbo. Ya know, that snail shapped thing that makes you fast?

What kind of numbers you looking for? I know 60/63 T3 tops out at about 300whp, give or take. Not sure what that equates to on sohc. I know on B 15psi is about its limitts. Good luck, should be an awesome street car
