How much boost can i put on a stock d16a6? its a t/3 turbo

 

what size injectors and what are you tuned on?

 

stock injectors and tuned on turbo edit

 

12psi easy just get some arp headbolts and a headgasket and it will take 12psi like nothing and last forever. All depends on the tune

 

any other suggestions

 

i'd say 5-7 psi and use 91-94 octane just my 2 cents....

I dont want to turn this thread into a bench-racing ramble, but about how much hp/torque would a stock A6 with 5-7 psi T3 make? Just curious, and thinking of down-the-road a little.

 

ur not gonna make much on stock injectors.

first question: do you like the motor?

i don't suggest running anything on a stock engine ,no supercharger, turbo, I wouldn't even run nitrous
seriously i'd go the vitara route if you know what you're doing
but you're probly gonna do it anyway so just keep the boost below 8psi, and get a fuel mixture gauge

 

better if you upgrade ur injectors...just use sum dsm turbo injectors..n bout da boost it all depends wut kind of abuse r u planning to do..for short runs like street light to street light u can even go with 15psi...but if ur planning on long runs for example fwy runs u should go with no more dan 8psi..

 

Greedy's carb legal turbo kits run 8 psi. So like everyone else said as a daily that is were you generally want to be.

X2 Get some bigger injectors first! Around 8psi for reliability. However it's all in the tune!
