Any insight would be appreciated. I just want it to run properly

This is what the car currently has:
It's an obd2 2001 gsr motor in a 92 civic

-aem intake
-aem fuel rail and fuel pressure reg.
-skunk2 intake manifold
-itr header
-itr gutted cat
-buddy club spec II exhaust
-stock p72 ecu

It used to run on bigger injectors and usually it rough idles only the first 1-2minutes starts up from cold weather and afterwards it's normal.

Now I swapped back to oem 240cc saturated injectors and the car idles very roughly and never stays normal. Pulling up to 6000-8000rpm is noticeably slower in vtec.

What could be wrong? Do I need a tune or it could be the fuel pressure?

I would first ask when the last time the fuel filter was changed. But if it is only rough on idle, then that's obviously not an issue.
There may be an issue too of not enough back pressure with the gutted cat. But that's just a guess.
My only other suggestion would be to get a programmable fuel controller and a good tune. I went all out and got an AEM EMS installed by a pro tuner.
I'm not much help, sorry.

 

Start by checking spark, then compression...then fuel on injectors...

 

i would go with getting a obd1 p72 with hondata crome etc. something where you can control the fuel and ignition timing, . And get a tune like mrlegoman said. it will help you alot get more horse power and know your car is running where it should be with the mods

 

I am planning to get a little more upgrades before tuning. I was told I should use my stock p30 ecu and chip it instead of using the oem p72 obd2 ecu.

UPDATE: I just realized with closer checking I found that the hose (i assume it's a vacuum hose) below the throttle body is cut. Does anyone know where it's connected or have a diagram of the obd2 vacuum system? I only have the obd1 book

</TD></TR></TABLE>I 100% fully disagree. Running a mod'd untuned engine is doing nothing but damaging your performance and possibly physically damaging your engine. Your going to see more power and performance gains from a good tune then any other mod you can do to your engine.
