Default 1995 exr v6 question

hi all once again.

i got a quick question, i am new to accords so here it goes.
the car has an aftermarket alarm
sometimes it does not start. say it would start in the morning , i would drive to the store, turn it off, then it would not start. i would try again in 10 minutes and it starts again.

I v been told it could be the main relay, i have replaced the starter.

Regards,
ura[pejorative]

could be a igniter also.
a main relay will not start in hot conditions and will after a cool down if the in car temp is cool

today I was stuck again in the mall for 2 hours.

now i took out the main relay.

the car keeps turning but does not start.

one question though.

generally when the main relay is the problem, the car is supposed to turn or no? because the problem I had was that the engine was NOT turning at all in the first place. now that the relay is out the car turns, but does no start if the main relay is the problem the car wudnot turn at all right?

maybe its the ignition plug?

edit: i have read some DIY and troubleshoot articles, i figured that the ECU should be sending a code for me to be read. the check engine light does not come on at all, i figured it has been tampered with, is there a DIY on how to screw the bulb of the light back on? i figure i would have to disassemble the dash

yes the engine will still crank but no fuel will be supplied if it is bad. a bad main relay will not code up nor will a igniter nor will a coil.a igniter will code up if it is in a shorted out mode.

Can you hear the fuel pump when you prime it? You may need a new pump

As long as you replaced your starter with a new or refurb I'd start checking over anything else electrical. Is it pretty hot when it fails to start, or will it do this right off the bat on a cold morning?
Car is getting power from the battery when you key it to the ON position?

yes car was not cranking from the beginning when this happens.

No well it would start fine then i would drive say 15 kms , stop, then it would not start. i would try like 10 times it would start again, or i would have to wait like one hour and try cranking multiple times during that hour without success.

yes the lights light up nicely, the car is getting power when key is in ON position. does not feel like it is lack of power.

I ended up buying a main relay, so far it is starting OK. i only driven it once though.

i replaced starter before and it was still doing it, so i put my old one back and returned the new one. ( money waste )
I am still puzzled. I will report next time it happens and the conditions of it happening

edit: it also seems like the check engine light bulb was unscrewed.....

ok so no it does not crank so their for it will not start correct ?
if you have a no start condition as in no cranking over of the engine then we need to confirm you are getting a signal from the ignition switch at the starter when cranking.
post your results
