Default T-25 oil return question??????

I mount my 1g dsm turbo on my manifold and my oil drain points forward. I read turbo oil return are activated by gravity. Since mines is point forward and not down toward my pan is this a problem. Can I get away with this, or is this a problem. Is there anything I could do? Bare with me my first diy turbo setup. Thanks guys!!!!

well, to answer your question, you need to clock the turbo so that the feed and drain are perfectly vertical.

my question: who made that manifold/where did you get it from? looks like you may have some problems from it.

what motor is this going on?

Aww I know this is honda-tech and not a mazda forum, but this is going on my miata and I was given this setup with the purchase of the car. Whats clocking a turbo? Is there a site you can link me to for instructions?

do you know who made that manifold? I'm asking because I wonder about the quality of the materials.

As for clocking the turbo, check the FAQ's for a lot of info, but the simplest answer is, there are bolts on the housings by the center section that will loosen the housings from it. Loosen the bolts and 'clock' or turn the center section until the feed and drain lines run vertical.
