Intentional Open Loop Mode
Yes it is possible. If you have a tunable EMS/ECU.
I know that both Crome Pro and eCtune rom have the disable closed loop for tuning capability. I'm sure the rest of them probably do as well.

problem is I am using a Greddy Emanage Blue unit. So i dont believe it has that option. Is there a way to mechanically force open loop? I am adding fuel via injector control, but the damn ecu is taking it right back out.
There is a way!
I have a stuck on open loop IAC that I removed from my car awhile back.........I'll sell it to you............jk
Nah I dumped it in the alley awhile back!I bet that would of worked well RPM was high too 1600-1900

I'm not familiar with the Greddy unit so I'm not sure how it works. If it is a PGMFI tuning tool it should have some way of controlling the O2 sensor readings going into the factory ECU in correlation with the fuel injector control.
Have to wait and see if someone else can chime in that knows more about the blue box.

Greddy did make an 02 sensor adapter than stops the signal from going to the blue unit at a setable RPM. I might as well go ahead and buy it as it seems that's what I need to tune at WOT.
Until then I converted a GM 2 bar map sensor so the ecu can read going into boost.
