Without a way to tune injector pulse width (ie: hondata, crome, aem ems...), do not touch your injectors.

not to mention the fact that you probably won't need anything larger than stock injectors either.

If you're running a stock ecu, anything other than stock will not function properly. You would need some sort of tuning system like hondata/Neptune/Crome etc, to properly control them. But understand this, YOU DO NOT NEED ANYTHING LARGER THAN STOCK INJECTORS FOR YOUR BUILD AT THIS TIME. You will need some sort of tuning system like I mentioned if you want your build to live up to its full potential and be reliable. Understand?

YES, stick with stock injectors

Would you care to elaborate on this point. I wouldn't mind knowing why they say not too use them other than a 5 year old post.

I would like to know because I have a set of DSM's that I am planning on using. The two rom editors that I have, Crome & eCtune, both have the DSM injectors in there fuel multiplier and battery offset menus. Why would they still have the 450s there if they don't work with the Honda ECU? Or is it just Hondata that can't get them to work?

The link is hondata specific.

But that is not the 1st time, I've heard a reputable source dislike DSM injectors.

Yes I read that very short and blunt (no tech data) thread. It talks about Honda ECU's in general. Not just Hondata related. It's 5 years old though. Is there anything recent that anyone can post up? Isn't that why there are battery offsets in some of the newer ROM editors? Any tuners have some input here. I'm not a big follower of heresay.

The only way to know is to determine the characteristic curves of the DSM injectors and compare them to honda injectors. The only people I could think of who know this information would be rc engineering.
