Default Fuel pump

I think my fuel pump is starting to go bad. I have a 2000 honda civic with a b18c in it. It idles fine, but when I put it in gear and start to go it dogs out bad then kicks back in, also when I step on it in higher rpms it sputters some time. it happens more often now, these symptoms have been going on for the past 6 months, but becoming more serious recently. Also my car doesnt like starting up once theres less than a 1/4 tank. I have changed out my fuel filter, put new wires and spark plugs in, put dry gas in and injector cleaner many times.
If I change out my fuel pump, which pump should I get for my mostly stock b18c? should I just get a civic replacement or an aftermarket one? Any other thoughts on what may be causing my problem? I did search without much luck. Thanks

only way to be positive your fuel pump is going out, is to lab scope it. it will draw you a picture of what the motor is doing. you can compare your lab scope trace to a good trace....most people have no idea how to do this, or wont have the tools... find someone who knows how to work one before you spend all that time and money on a part thats good.

would a 255 be too big or does it not really matter? How much you want for the one you have?

could this problem also be caused by a bad o2 sensor?
