Icon6 Help fuel pump problem

I have a 94 Civic SI
Everything was working perfecty and then suddenly my car wouldnt start
I changoe the following
New fuel filter
New main relay
New spark plugs
New fuel pump
At first the gas did go up normally but it just wouldnt start. I try turning it on 2nd gear and it turn on for a couple of mins, but then it turn off. I change the fuel pump and now the gas doesnt go up and i dont have current on the connection to the fuel pump. I heard its something with the ground
Any body have had this problem? I check my fuses and they are ok
Next in my list are my injectors
Any tips?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks

Where did you get your fuel pump (OEM, or some crap ebay/napa/pep boys)?

I am not sure what you do/don't know, so you can ignore this.
When you turn the key on (engine not running) your fuel pump will only run for a few seconds.
I am saying this because you said you did not have current at the fuel pump. That might be normal. You would have to mulitmeter on pump/watching it & have a friend turn the car on all at the exact time to see your meter move.

Just apply power & ground to the fuel pump to test it. If the fuel pump works you know the fuel pump is working and you have an issue some where else.

Can you read the diagram on the relay? If so, go to fuel pump relay and jump it with a paper clip. I would only do this just for a quick test. Since you know the pump is good this will test your wiring from the fuel pump relay to the fuel pump.

If the wiring to from the fuel pump relay to pump is good. You might be able to test the signal from the computer to the fuel pump relay. I say might because I almost think the relay has to be plugged in and it might very hard to get to the connectors/wires on it. Sorry I am new hondas and I don't know how hard it is to get the connectors.

You might need a tool like this. It allows you to plug in the relay and have full access to all the connectors. On your honda you might get lucky and just be able to get the back of the relay junction block.

bro, if you dont know how to use a dmm go find someone who does. You seem clueless right now. Or continue to make parts stores rich buying parts guessing the problem

Borrow a known good ECU and try that.
If it starts than your ECU circuit board could be compromised by moisture.
Probably capacitor at C14 position on the circuit board is compromised.

Ground on the thermostat, is it tight?
Are you getting spark?
Do you have 12v to igp1 and igp2 at the ecu?
Does the main relay click when you turn ignition to on?
