Bad a/c compressor?
I'm assuming the problem is the a/c compressor, but I'd like a second opinion on this.
The first symptom is when I turn the a/c on, the a/c seems to click on and off by itself, due to what seems like it's working too hard almost. That's evident by the sound it makes, or at least that's what I take of the irregular sound it makes. The RPMs also begin to drop immediately. They drop 400 RPMs. Freon was applied to the car as well, and nothing.
Not sure if these are typical symptoms of the a/c working or not working, but I received the car with the a/c not working properly so I don't have a clue as to what noises it should make, or if the RPMs suppose drop or not, etc..
Any help would be appreciated.

Download the service manual for your car, get a multimeter, and follow the troubleshooting diagnostics in the manual. It's very easy, and it will tell you exactly what your problem is (and it could be anything).
I took my car to a shop to have my AC problem diagnosed, they told me I needed a new compressor, and there was an "electrical problem" as well. I ended up fixing it myself, it ended up being a bad ecu, just like the diagnostic guide said it was.

I have the same symptoms also. When AC is on, it sounds like my ac compressor makes a clicking noise every second and my rpm drops to about 200rpm and my car struggles just not to stall. Let me know if you have fixed your problem and what you did to fix it. Thanks.
I still haven't figured it out. And I don't plan on doing so until next summer, because I live in Jersey and the winter is coming. But I'm just gonna buy a used air compressor for $30 and see if that works. I'm hoping/thinking it will do the trick.
Have you put oil in the compressor recently or have the oil level checked?
I just had to do this to get my a/c working again after my engine swap. I had to get some PAG oil from honda for the compressor.
