Anybody know the amount of cranks it takes to prime the oil pump on a fresh build?

First off how do you know your pump isnt working? Are you getting an oil light?

Second is the whole motor new parts or old parts?

Who did the build?

So than your Turbo isnt getting any oil.

If you have no oil pressure, well that cant be good.

Id call said builder and let them know whats going on.

Hopefully your just not using the oil pressure gauge right.

You can however, if your feeling really spirited, pull the oil pan off and check the oil feed tube inside the motor.

Yeah i sent him a pm, and i know the oil pressure gauge is working because thats been on my car and the oil feed line is off the same tap, and the oil feed is off of my other h22 that worked so i can really only be the oil pump i think.
