Default H22 in 94 Prelude. Update. Fixed first problem now another.

So I had the problem of the fuel pump running constantly with the key on engine off. Plugged a different computer in and it works how it should with no check engine. The only ecu's I have to work with are the P13 M/T H22 (this is the one thats screwed up), A P13 A/T, and the stock P12. My question is, will the A/t or the P12 ecu at least work enough to see if it will start. Not drive just make the motor want to run.

My other problem is, the H22 dizzy has the 2 pin plug and the 8 pin plug. On the harness side of the 8 pin plug there are 8 wires where as the H22 dizzy only has 7. I extra wire on the harness is blue. The car originally had an external coil so I took the blk/yel wire and the yel. wire that was going to the coil and connected them together. No there is a blue wire left in that plug which Im unsure about......... When I pulled a plug out it was getting spark. Also when the motor is cranking the tach doesn't move the slightest bit. Could that be from the missing wire in the dizzy????

I belive the other ecu u have is a P14(h23) ecu. it will run the engine although the maps are off. I drove on my stock 94 si (P14) ecu for day or two with my h22a.

But even though it is a Auto ecu , will the engine at least fire up?

even on your p13 m/t ecu the pins are there. just omit those connections and give er hell! i think you can probably search this information, i've read about people talking about it if you need more in depth answers

I converted the auto ecu over to manual. The problem with the no start was when he flooded his car the whole exhaust was full of water. After a few sputters while cranking it a ton of water came shooting out of the exhaust and it runs good now. Idles great, the only problem we have now in intermittently its hesitant accelerating between 2-4k. Ive searched and it doesnt seem to be anything I've found on these sites. He started with about half a tank of regular gas in it. Dumped a bottle of octane booster in then filled the other half up with 93. Could that possibly have something to do with that?

i would drive the car for a bit, put some miles on it and see what the deal is. if you flooded the motor so bad that it is puking gas out, there is gas everywhere. honda's don't like a wet manifold, no car really does. it will cause a a/f ratio that the ecu is not allowing for. drive her for a bit and see what's up
