I was driving home from my tune last week and my car shut off and the engine light stayed on solid. It will turn over but wont start, i cant hear the fuel pump and the main relay wont click or buzz or anything. I have a b18c turbo crx with obd1 ecu conversion harness...

things i tried to solve my problem:
changed main relay, changed fuse box in engine bay, put my ecu into another car with similar setup and the car started and ran...

It seems to me that the ecu is not getting any power, thats why i changed my fuse panel in the engine bay. I thought if i pulled the fuse for the ecu from that panel the engine light would go out but it didnt so that shows me there might be a problem with power to the ecu. if anyone out there has had any similar problems in the past or might have an idea please help me out, i just spent so much money on my car and i cant even drive it now lol. thanks

 

i ran into similar problems... i ended up changing my harness. car ran fine and i never figured out exactly what it was. its a pain in theass but if all else fells.........

 

yea, i think my game plan from here on out is to trace that ecu wire from the ecu fuse to the ecu itself. see if there is any kinks or breaks in the wire...prob gotta take the whole dask off to do that anyway. now i just have to find a crx si wire harness....

 

I just ran into the same thing yesterday with a crx/b16a combo! Make sure you have a good ground from the transmission to chassis. I dropped the motor back in and forgot to put it on..as soon as i did everything was fine
