Default Car trys to start but wont turn over

My 95 integra rs trys to turn over but wont start. Seems like there is no fuel getting to my cylinders but it could be a million different things. First of all i think i have some vacumn lines that need to be hooked up but i have no idea where they go. It is coming off a canister, here is a picture

I need to know which hoses go to what nipples so i can get my vacumn lines hooked up correctly.

Also i have a couple questions about random things that i would just like to know. First off i would like to know what this single red wire is for. It is on the back side of my block and its right next to my oil filter.

Ok final question for this posting. does anyone have any idea what this nipple is supposed to be connected too? and right next to the nipple it looks like a hard line has been broken off but i cant tell. please fill me in.

Thank you everyone in advance for all your help. This is the only place i go to ask questions about my car. thank you

The red wire is for the oil pressure sensor.

Since your car is obd1, that first pic with the canister you can take completely out.
That is, if the State you live in isn't emission happy, then it'll be fine.

Can't really tell in the last pic, looks pretty close to the Rack&Pinion?

determine why the car wont start. Either no spark or no fuel.

Pull the fuel line off around the rail and prime the pump by putting key to on position, and if fuel spits out, thats not the issue,

to check spark, pull 1 spark plug wire, stick a screw driver in it where spark plug usually goes, lay it down on the radiator support and turn the engine over, if u see a spark fly from the screwdriver to the rad support, u got spark.

Thats a better way to start pinpointing why it wont start.

also check yourself on baka mistakes, like empty gas tank, or blown fuses.

has nothing to do with your problem, but tighten that half-shaft bolt.... its needs all 3 bolts to be torqued properly or you can risk them being stripped
