overheating problem
just turbo charged my car and its overheating like crazy. i wired both fans to run constant and changed coolant ratio. helped alot but it still over heats. the thermostat is working and i noticed that it really overheats fast in slow traffic and heat (i know there is no air flow and its hot) but even when im not boosting i still have overheating problems. reaches 230 with in 20-25 min and if i run the a/c in about 10-15. I wanna keep the a/c any suggestions

I had a overheating problem with my prelude turbo. Aside from getting 2 larger fans, I'd say get rid of the A/C. I removed mine, and used a civic aluminum 1/2 radiator, replaced the 12" slim fan with a 14" slim fan, now the car never goes above 195 in dead traffic. If you can fit them, try and run a larger 14" fan in place of the stock one, and put a larger fan on the condenser side. ALso, if you'd like to "wire" them all the time - another way is to disconnect the thermostat housing fan switch connectror and jump it with a wire/paper clip/etc... That turns the fans on all the time when the key is in the ON position. hth.

a. either you don't have an intercooler and that's your problem.
b. your is soon to need to be replaced anyways and turbo is just making things worse.
either ways, removing a/c will provide a very minimal lowering in temperature ( if it does in the first place! ).. and removing a/c will not help you while you're idling at a stop. Unless you planned on getting rid of it anyways i wouldn't reccomend it..

also as a temporary fix, you can run the heater in the car.. the heater core dissipates some of the heat into the car and will lower your temps.. if it's cold outside, put the heater on full blast and lower the windows if the heat starts rising pretty badly..
