Water temp guage not working? searched

Default Water temp guage not working? searched

how do i test the sensor and the wiring to see where my prob is? car sits on C its not kickin my fan on. any help woud be great

Your cooling fan runs independent of the gauge cluster. Your gauge cluster works off of the one wire temp sensor located under the distributor in the cylinder head, and the fans use the coolant temp sensor 2 wires off of the thermo housing usually, along with a fan relay switch. The coolant temp sensor for the fans on a D-series could also be located in the cylnder head as well.

hhmm cuz my guage doesnt work and my fan doesnt work either....
