Default b16 has no power when given gas.

Hey everyone, I am having an issue with my freshly installed b16. I traded my b20 for it and i got everything put together it starts and idles kinda rough but nonetheless it idles. When I give it gas it doesnt rev like it should it has no power whatsoever. Anyone might have an idea on what it might be? The timing looks good. Maybe a bad dizzy? I am completely stumped. Also as a side note, I am running a phearable ecu with a b16 base map with the turbo setup i have. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I think im going to buy some new plugs and a rotor tomorrow swap those out to see maybe thats the issue.

check compression.
on second thought, i bet money you have the harness plugged into the wrong ****. any CEL? i've seen this when me DAF (dumb *** friend) plugged the vtec into the temp sensor and temp into the vtec, for [freak] sake they are even color coded! check it out. also one i see get screwed up is the one the goes to the manifold and i think the coolant sensor, but the fan will come on as soon as turn the key so that's a dead give away. check your harness, if that's not is check compression, if that's not it shoot it.

I went through hell trying to figure out why my B16 wasnt pulling like it should. I checked/replaced all the sensors, Cleaned and replaced everything i could get to, replaced all basic tune up parts, etc. Turns out that the D series clutch cable wasnt long enough to fully engage the Hasport cable to hydro mechanism on the trans. I trimmed the rubber bumper at the end to get another 1/2inch of play and BAM she pulls stronger than I could of ever hoped. The worst part is I thought of that 2 months ago and ignored it thinking "oh that cant be it"

Maybe this will help you or someone else. Otherwise all I can say is its probably right in front of you starring at you. Try to think it through.

Well it has no pull at all. like it revs like a tractor Mine is a cable b16 trans. Iv read a bunch of threads alot of people are saying that if the ECT sensor is not working that it messes with the motor pretty bad. It's showing temp on the instrument panel.

If I remember correctly the temp sensor for the dash gauge is seperate. What do you mean "revs like a tractor" do you mean the rpms climb but the car doesnt gain speed? That to me sounds like a slipping clutch or the clutch is not fully engaging. It seems to be a pretty common problem with cable and hydro swaps. (the cable being to short to engage the clutch). Before I replaced my ect it just kinda bogged down when the throttle was pushed too hard. Hope this helps

I agree with him..
Check into the compression man.....
Also when you say it is running like a tractor do you mean that car is bogging ???
And no offence dlaub25 but why are you talking about the tranny ?? I think the guy is talking about stepping on the gas and his B16 is moving like if he was riding his pedal bike

Just a shot in the dark but you don't have a missing link on it do you? That will cause this symptom.

No I dont have a missing link, like when the car is in neutral and i try to rev it up, it revs REALLY slow, like takes id say roughly 10 secs to even rev to 4k with the throttle all the way down.
