Default CEL

I shorted out the service connector with a piece of scrap metal, turned the key to the on position and nothing happened! Isn't the CEL light suppose to blink the code of why it is on? 92 prelude...

Why not just got an advanced auto parts or Autozone store to have your code read?

whatever ur using, isn't making the correct contact. if its looped correctly, the CEL will blink the numbers ur looking for. I used a regular wire from a radio harness. just stripped both ends so it made good contact.
