Fuel Injector Identification
Alright so I bought this set of injectors from a good friend who is very Turbo Honda intelligent. He told me that they were 680cc injectors and randomly a month later when we were talking about them he said "Those 550's you got off of me". They have no labels of any kind on them and I can't see a part number. I wouldn't worry that much if the difference in size wasn't 550 to 680, thats pretty damn significant. I know that he ran them on a Stock D16Z6 turbo setup that was tuned on an AEM EMS and made 246whp on a dyno. I have very very little in them so I won't be mad either way I just need to know before I start pushing them on the dyno. So my question is this, is there a way to test them to see what flow rate they are? Can my tuner figure it out when he hooks up to the EMS I'm using?
Yeah, once he starts pushing it he should be able to moniter the duty cycle which will let him know how much power he can safely extract out of your motor. Not to say he will be able to say yeah these are xxxcc's but he should have a ballpark figure. You can get then flow tested at a shop that cleans and blueprints injectors.
