check your pcv system. blocked valve will force crankcase into the cylinders and sometimes oil etc.

you install the oil control ring in the right way up? (im assuming the honda ones have the lip on them like some aftermarket) were the cylinders honed with a honeing stone to the correct 60 degree cross pattern? also did you seat the rings in right away? ring gap set and rings set in the correct position?

any of the above will cause excessive oil burning.

A leakdown test will tell you exactly where the problem is... rings, valves, stem seals.

i had the same problem with an old nissan pathfinder i used to have ,they are famous for that.
you don't need to rebuild ,but first do a compression test to get a baseline
next take an oil can with the squirt thingy , and squirt a few squirts directly into the cylinder ,turn it over a few times(unplug the coil so it doesn't get any spark)
then run another comprssion test ,it should be higher

if it isn't check the cam timing

so i had in between 205 and 220 all the way across and in cylender 3 the leak down test was at 12 percent when the rest were at 4 percent. thats what my mechanic told me..
