Alright, I'm new to this forum, but I am on other prelude forums, and nobody has been able to help much. I have a 1993 Prelude Si 4ws with a jdm h22a swap using the H23 Harness and USDM p13 ECU. I have been having some difficulty with the wiring so here's goes my diagnosis.

Behind the block under the intake manifold there are three connectors.
1. Gray connector with Black/yellow and pink wires
2. Gray connector with red/blue wire
3. Green connector with green/red and black wire

When I have the gray connector with the red/blue wire connected to the knock sensor (which I believe is technically the right connection, and I do also have it correctly wired up to the ecu) and I have the red/green, black wires connected to the powersteering I don't throw a knock sensor cel code, but my engine is really sluggish, i mean really sluggish.

But when I plug up the black/yellow, pink wires up to the knock sensor and leave the powersteerig the same, the engine runs fine, but I throw the code.

Now, I believe if I am looking at the ecu pinout correctly the red/green wire is for the powersteering, so I think the powersteering is correct. And the single blue/red wire to the knock senosr is correct and it plugs into D3 on the ecu.

Either way something is messed up, and what does the third plug plug into? I have searched and searched, and i have tried to make since of the service manual wiring diagram, but I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks for any of your help.

 

The blk/yel and pink goes to the IAB solenoid directly underneath the IM.

 

okay, so the knock sensor is above the oil filter..this is a stupid question, but where the heck is the iab solenoid on a jdm h22a motor
