im trying to get my ef running i drove from cali to visit my mom in vegas and a little after i got there my car cut off driving down the street it started once or twice but cuts off when i gas it i just finished swapping the car and it was running goo its a d16 crx si moter i did the wiring a year ago and never had problems now its throwing code 1 and 7 if anyone knows whats wrong let me know thanks

 

First you should try the search option in the upper right hand corner! It has a wealth of infomation attached to it.

Okay! Now your CEL 1 is your oxygen sensor number 1

CEL 7 is a TPS(throttle Position sensor)= I would bet that this is why your car stop running.

I would check to make sure the connector is connected first. Then meter the TPS if it is connected. I have had this happen to me. Sometimes the sensor just goes out. Just use the "search" to find what the TPS is supposed to be reading.

Dont' forget to reset the ECU.

 

how do i check that? it was throwing 7 before and running some one said the fuel pump relay ?
