MSD or other ignition upgrade
I have a boosted sohc slammer with the basic fmu setup and stock injectors, intercooled.
Who of you guy's have done ignition upgrades, and if so what kind of difference was there.

i always hear stock ignition is good enough. im sure the MSD provides consistent capacitative sparks which help smoothen the power band.
I installed the MSD 6al on my turbo CRX. Here is what I noticed.
1. I can run wider gaps, closer to stock.
2. I get better gas mileage cruising.
3. Quicker starts.
4. Smoother idle.
5. Much less fouling
6. It can chew through Dist caps/rotors faster.
7. Its another thing to question when things go wrong.
8. The soft-touch rev limiter (drop spark) is 1000 times better/safer than the stock rev limiter (drop fuel pulses).
9. Looks cool?
10. I got it used for 1/2 of retail.

About as good as putting an intercooler on a car with no turbo/supercharger.
You won't hurt anything other than go through rotors faster, but I doubt you will gain anything.
