Rough Idle CEL 5 and 14 MAP and IACV
Alright so I have searched and searched and im starting to go insane.
When I first start my car when its cold it will run really rough. After about 10 seconds the idle will rise up to about 2000rpms and then drop immediately. Thats when the CEL comes on. Sometimes is will continue to bounce. Sometimes it will just go back down to 1000rpms and run really rough and really rich.
After I let the car warm up to normal operating temperature and then turn the car off and turn it back on and reset the ecu it runs like a dream.
I ran the codes and I go 5 and 14 Map sensor and Iacv.
So far i have taken out the iacv and cleaned and and the same with the fitv.
I cant imagine my map or iacv being bad since i bought the car in feb and havent driven it since. because i was doing body work.
All i have done was pull out cruise control, the stupid box in the bumper for the intake. I replaced a bunch of vacuum lines with fresh ones and anything that was removed has been plugged.
Any thoughts?

help me!!! if theres anyone in south east pa who is willing to come help me with this and get it running right. ill throw them a few bucks.
have you tried to connect 1 tab to the battery and the other tab to ground and see if the IAC clicks. Im talking about the plug tabs on the IAC and not the harness.
When you removed the resonator box from behind the bumper, did you plug the vacuum hose going to it?
Also, if you've been swapping out vacuum hoses, then the chances are that this is where your problem lies. Double check all connections are tight, and make sure everything is plumbed in exactly as it was before.
