Need help with AT Shifting Rough.
Automatic transmission shifts rough only when getting into or out of the Park Gear. I already changed and flushed the trans fluid twice (also used Seafoam Trans-tune) in the past 10,000 miles.
My last guess was trying to adjust the shift cable to Helms Specs, i removed the console, removed the lock pin and aligned the holes pretty good but it still shifts rough.
Is there something I did wrong? My only idea is that my shift cable is too short and I might have to replace it, but i wanna hear H-T's advice before I do that.

I'm a little confused by what you mean, i'm assuming you mean its physically hard to move the shifter into and out of park? Honda automatics for the most part shift pretty harsh compared to a lot of other automatics. check the shift cable though, its possible the cable sheath chaffed through. Honda is also pretty big on using only their own brand of ATF and not using additives.

When did this start? Does the transmission "shift" hard, or is the cable binding. What year, make and model are we talking about here?
Honda's require a DEX II/III oil. (same as GM) It is sold under the Honda label, but its the same crap. DO NOT USE IN CVT's!
