Hey guys, I got a 2000 civic hatch with a b16a2. I want to add A/C to my car and I still have all the hoses, brackets, etc and what not from my stock d-series. Is it possible to still use all the same parts, except just getting a new A/C mount specific to a b-series? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

 

i think you have to use the si a/c stuff

 

All of the D series stuff will work except the AC mount bracket. Use a 97-01 CRV AC mount to bolt the compressor to the block. Everything else should be okay. I'm currently running D series A/C on my B series engine with no problems other than that my AC clutch is ****.

 

ahh thats what I thought also, thanks a lot. CR-V A/C mount eh...interesting, I can probably get that for a lot cheaper than the mount off of hasport or inlinefour...thanks a lot for the info, greatly appreciated.

 

when i did a swap on my old ek the stock ac compressor bolted right up to the b16 mount which was from a 95 del sol
