sleeved turbo gsr. im running a 60-1 with .82ar housing and 1000cc injectors. im currently at 14psi and im bored with the power level. the tune is there to turn it up, im just wondering how high is safe on 93 octane. i was thinking about 18, but ive had some people say i should turn it to 22.
You won't really know unless you make some passes and check your plugs. A good tuner will do this.
I just watched a K20a2 with a full-race kit 60-1 make 450whp at 18psi. They didn't push it any past 18psi on pump gas and i don't either with my built GSR / gt3076r.

i tuned my car with a t3 60-1 up to 18 psi on pump gas. it made 425whp but my afr was in the 10s above 7k rpms because the dyno wideband crapped out and i only had my in car one to go on. would have made about 440 with a moderately aggressive tune. btw motor is a 2.0l vtec b series
I think 18psi would be as high as I would go on 93 for daily driving. If you just want the Dyno sheet you could try to hit 500hp by turning it up a little higher, but I wouldnt keep it there for daily driving

PSI is by no means a good measurement of engines durability level. Hes wanting a simple opinion though.

pound for pound this turbo seemed to make about the same whp as my gt3076r. I assuming they are rated pretty similar.
TigerBallZ is the guy i'm talking about. He posts on here and has a clean EP3.

I see 23-24psi on pump gas on my dsm, its a different animal but it is fine. This is with LITTLE water injection (50/50mix). Oh yeah and im not a typical dsm guys who love to run 30psi on little turbo's
I started out with a boosted honda first.
goodluck.

For Hondas and DSMs, no more than about 19psi should be used based upon the CFM to Intake volume that this particular compressor wheel is able to give. The turbine wheel is a different story.
