Default Wheel offset question......

I found a few different wheels that Im intersted in, but they are either 17x7 40mm offset, or 17x7 48mm offset.... My car is lowered on Eibach Prokit springs... Can I use the 48mm offset wheels? What tires should I get 205/40 or 215/45? Please help, I would like to order the wheels by tomorrow!

get the lower ones the 48 will look too sunken in. look at it this way. stock wheel on the 05-06 type S is 17x7 45mm offset...so base it off that.

So the 48mm sits in further? If I go with the 40mm can I still run 215/45's or will they hit the fender lip?

A friend had a 17x8 wheels +48 and he was rubbing the rear trailing arm, so yeah, stick with a bit lower offset.

I ordered the Rota Subzero's in 17x7.5 w/45mm offset, I'll be running 215/45/17's hopefully I wont have any issues.
