Ok I have a 2000 SI and going to start my battery and fuse block relocation. I am putting my new optima red top battery in the trunks spare tire space. I am going to bring the power cable from the battery to the starter and run 2 fuses one just before the starter and another just before the battery. Then run another fuse on the power cable for the engine fuse block, since it has to be lengthened. What gauge wire should I use to run from the battery to fuse block and will my idea work and not have problems? Thanks
