Default Cam seal/plug loosening & tightening sequence picture, dizzy oring

Hey i have a 5th gen lude with a h22a4, i have a Golden Eagle cam plug that i've been putting off changing for awhile. I will also be changing the dizzy o-ring. Anyways the DIY that i had bookmarked doesnt work anymore or the pictures dont work.

If anyone has the loosening and tightening sequence for the cam rail pictures that would be great. It has ft/lbs also on it. Any help or tips will be greatly appreciated.

I also have a DIY bookmarked for changing the dizzy o-ring but the pictures dont work either. I think it was for a Delsol, it was on honda-tech.

Where exactly do i draw a mark before taking the dizzy off? So i dont screw up the timing. Or is the prelude different then the delsol? I just dont want to take off the 3 bolts, change the o-ring then place it back together, and then the timing or something else is wrecked.

Any insight will be greatful thanks!

Also does anyone know much about taking the dizzy off to change the o-ring. I dont want to make another thread about it. Im just unsure of where to draw the line or if i need to.

In this DIY it shows what im trying to explain by drawing a line, but its on a different engine.

If anyone could clear this up that would be sweet.

The line is draw just so that you can set your timing somewhere close to where it was. You really need a timing light. You need to make a line/scratch on the dizyy strait across to the head. That would be on the line close to the bottom of the picture.

i dont think u need to makr ur timing on a 5th gen, the distributors are not rotatable.

well if the distributor on the 5th gens are not rotatable then i should be fine with just taking out the 3 bolts and pulling it out??

I also downloaded the helms manual, the chapters with the engine head and block. I found the specs that i needed for the cam plate.

So i was reading through the helms manual and found the instructions on taking the dizzy off. They note to before installing the dizzy back on to set piston #1 to TDC. Can anyone shed some light as to why i would have to do this?

Bump... Does anyone know why i have to be on TDC on Piston #1 to re-install the dizzy? To me it makes senses that if you take it off why couldn't you just put it back on without problem? Or am i missing the whole point to setting it to TDC?

Thanks again for your help so far, once I get this question answered im doing it.
