hey i am having some issues with my ac compressor clutch not engaging. The a/c hasnt worked since I was in a minor accident. What are some tests that I could do or maybe something i can look for? It is very frustrating to me to have little issues like this so any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

front end accidents = leaks(everything is up front).
Clutch wont kick on when freon is gone to protect the compressor.
step 1: check for leaks.... my shop runs this dye into the system and with a special light and some yellow goggles, can pinpoint it.

ok maybe i am making this harder than it should be, how can i check for a leak if the system is empty? the clutch isnt coming on at all right now, and from what i understood it wont take the refrigerant until its engaged.

Fuse 13 under the dash. If the condenser fan runs, then the fuse is fine. In this case, get a manifold gauge set to check whether the refrigerant is low or gone before adding dye-containing refrigerant.

did you read my post?.... my shop puts this dye(harmless BTW) into the system to check for leaks.
Best bet is to take it to a professional to have it tested
