Just picked up a 86 crx hf and i need to know if i can put a d16z6 in it

Default Just picked up a 86 crx hf and i need to know if i can put a d16z6 in it

any info would be great as im going to pull the motor out of the junkyard tomorrow

no not easily you would have to make your own mounts, the popular swap for those are the 1st gen integra motors they bolt right in

Its almost a shame to do it if the hf motor is working....sure it's a dog, but the hf is hard to find and nets a mean 50+ mpg. I bet you could sell a decent one on ebay for big bucks with the way fuel prices are.

But I concurr...it would be a pain because of the motor mount issue. Better to use a different motor unless you are a good fabricator, or know of one.
