help on my 1991 civic si d16z6

Default help on my 1991 civic si d16z6

well i just bought this car i was told the thermostat was messed up but didnt check drove from highland park all the way to so.cal like 40 min drive. rite wen we get to the are the car starts to overheat and smoke up blue smoke from behind it kept dying but wen it did i clutch started. then it finally turned off so i pushed it i try to start it now notice low on oil radiator not working so i change the thermostat still nothing the engine cranks but slow idk wat happen it started since it overheated and it turned off havent start since then. have put oil change thermostat and nothing what could it be.

did you check the oil before you drove it? couldve ran on no oil and f'd it all up

yea wen i came back it had no oil just alittle but i believe my head blew thats it cause its looks burnt and smells burnt so im changing that hopefully thats it

i took it off and changed it the block had water on top of the pistons so i cleaned it out and put a new gasket and another used head hopefully it works now need to put the timing belt on how do i loosen it to put it bak on because i cant

well i forgot to time it and i start it so i bent the valves out to buy a new head and not try to do the same mistake
