is there any coolant in the oil? and also is your car losing coolant, these are usually signs of the headgasket on it's way out.

You better hope it's coolant, if not then it's OIL!!

i thought if oil was leaking it would be a bluish color, and it would come out of other places except the tailpipe, if i do need to change the head gasket anyone know if it is DIY possible or how much the shop SHOULD charge?

It sounds like a headgasket. How mechanically oriented are you is the question? First time changing a head gasket will prolly take about 4.5 hours without any problems. I would recommend doing it yourself as it will teach you a lot about working on your own car. It would be a good idea however to know someone who has done it before just to make sure you get all the timing lined back up right. Its not too bad of a job really just kind of time consuming. A Honda dealership usually charges around $800-$1000 depending on the place and time. Other local shops usually about $500-$700. They have the upper hand most of the time since this is not a job just any average Joe can do.
