Default Honda civic 2006 EX coupe when shifting makes high pitch sounds

Hi there

I have a Honda civic 2006 EX 5 speed transmission.
Just recently I reached 75000 Km's on the vehicle,so far everything seems ok.

I am going to try to explain this the best I can.I first notice that in the early morning starts.... I start driving..i shift to second and as i shift i hear a high pitch noise when shifting and even when rpms go 2000-4000rpms.
I go in to third gear same thing as soon as i accelerate , shift i hear the high pitch noise whether i shift to second or third or forth the high pitch sounds appear...it last for about between 2-4 minutes of driving.
Now it does not only start in the morning..now if its mid day or night i start the car and drive and shift this happens again and it only last a couple of minutes.I want to bring this in the for service but Honda saids they can diagnose this if this does not happen when they inspect it and i can just go into any honda service centre when the sounds appear...any suggestions would be appreciated...thanks everyone

Never heard of it but I would say take it to your dealer.

is like a high pitched whining or whistle or is it a whirring sound like the engine. If I have the radio off I can hear the engine and when you get to 3 or 4k right before you shift the engine tone is pretty high pitched.

no even with stock audio it does that. it's an annoying whistling sound that whenever u shift, you can actually hear your engine gaining speed. as if the sound is going according to the RPM. i've only heard it about 4 or 5 times... but idk it was weird cuz it was when i plugged my ipod car charger inside and it started doing that.

Ya, what i'm talking about is just the sound of the engine, its nothing to worry about. The engine just makes a high pitched whirring noise. It could be v-tech cause in the r18 it kicks in about 3300 or 3500 rpm or somewhere around there.
