a moderately loud clanking noise seems to be coming from my valves while idle.. its a 93 h22a with 161,000 miles. what do you think i could do? someone told me to add a heavier motor oil to control the noise..idk. any suggestions will help! thanks, jaclyn

 

start with a valve adjustment.

 

are the valves adjustable or are they hydraulic/automatic adjusting?
