dropped shifter

i dont know how and i dont what happened it just seemed lower while driving it earlier today and now i can hit my exhaust pipe with the shifter. Does anyone know what the part number is off hand. or a pic?
It an Ls in an eg hatch.
I drove on it for about 15mins. I guess it wount hurt anything until i can get the part to fix it. Someone correct me if im wrong

my guess would be you lost a bolt to your shift linkage... Take off the boot and see whats going on under there. Should be a simple fix though...
sounds like the rubber mount under the shifter broke loose.
you may need this. Jack up the car take a look, its right on the end of the support rod under and to the back of the shifter. Held on with two 6mm bolts with 11mm heads..

yea i lost the two bolts...
it was hard at first to figure out what i lost since it wasnt there and i dont know every part in the shift linkage but thanks for the link and it will be back to new as soon i can get it. thanks
