I forgot the number, but check and see if J28 is cut (Not sure on the number) I had the same problem, my it was cut one I had s200 installed in my Ecu, but when I took it out and sold it and added a chip it from phearable it wouldn't go pass 4000rpms as you stated. I reconnected the J28(again not sure if thats the right number) and it worked, it ran fine, went pass 4000rpm, and the two step kicked in like it should. By the way it should be right on the right side of the place where the chip sits at. I'll try and get pictures of my ecu tonight and post them up and show you a little better.

Maybe it was the J1, I'll pull my ecu out and take pictures and look at it for you as soon as I find out where my camera is. But check and make sure nothing is cut from the circuit board and that everything is connected

Ok. Easiest thing is to cut J1 and make sure the ecu itself is still functioning properly.

If it is fine. Then you have a problem in the chipping or the basemap.

I would put money on the chipping before the basemap though. Make sure you don't have any bridged solder joints, lifted pads, pulled traces, etc.

ok so if i cut j1 and the car runs fine then it has to do with either the soldering job or the chip , i will try that and see what happens, and by a burnt trace do you mean a foil from the board.....

Yes, the injectors aren't keeping up. Change them out for the 450's and see what happens. Whats the setup of the car anyways?

If your map is for 450cc injectors & you are running on 240cc injectors your car will obviously not run correctly. Install the injectors properly & the resistor box. Make sure you wire the resistor box up properly & don't loose sequence of the injector clips (cyl1 is cyl2 etc..)
