HELP!!!!! With JDM D15b!!!!
Whats good honda tech I am in need of some major help. I have a 1994 vx honda civic hatchback which i recently swapped a D15b motor into and thats when the problems began. At first i couldnt get the car to start with my old ECU (P07) which was for my old vtec-e motor (D15z1). So I got my hands on a chipped P28 and hooked that up and the car starts but then it wont rev past 4000rpm so I thought maybe there was something wrong with the chip so I got it reprogrammed and it still does the same thing. Now this is where I am stuck wondering WTF. Chipped p28 wont pass 4000rpm, With out the chip in the p28 wont pass 4000rpm, A virgin p28 wont pass 2000rpm I dont know what the heck to do PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!! It is throwing a CEL which I will get the codes for tomorrow to post up and also this things is eating gas like no other its like I am driving a truck. Below is a pic of the ecu and also videos of what the car is doing.
This is with the chipped p28 (also does the same thing when the chip is not inside ECU)

Get the codes and it'll more than likely pinpoint your issue. Is your VX O2 the 4 wire or 7 pin? If its not the 4 wire you'll have to convert it over. Did your D15B come with a VTEC pressure switch on the solenoid? If not you'll need to get one or disable it on your ECU.
