Default overheating problems on gsr motor.

Just put my build together and having alot of problems with the motor overheating.

The radiator keeps throwing water out and if i drive about 15 miles i have to put about 1/2 a gallon or more of water in it.

i replaced the headgasket and reshaved the head but it was still over heating especialy once i put the car over 5k rpm.

now i am being told that its the block. they said the sleeves on my block are not even and are off by a couple milimeters.

would shaving the sleeves to make them even work?

Heres some specks on my motor.
block done by jg. 86mm pistons, jg open deck sleeves, rods etc.

head- port polish, toda spec c cams, valve springs retainers, etc.

rmf headers, type r tranny, etc.

If your block is truly warped a couple of mm you definately need to get it decked.

I have a hard time buying that you have sleeve variation by 2mm, thats .080 you could see that with the naked eye. and wouldn't that variation create some evident cross contamination?

I have money on an air pocket though regardless.

Was the headgasket you removed blown? If so you probably have a low spot on a 86MM OPEN DECK SLEEVE.

I didn't catch the gasket thing. Good question.

Good luck to the OP on this headache.
