Default k20a rebuld

whats up.
well i would like yo ask for those who are interested in helping. my mater cylinder #1 blew my piston and 3 vales. i would like to know what you guys suggest. to re build it (and with what internals). or to swap it out with a stock k24. id really apreaciate your help thank you...

first you should decide what you plan to do with the engine ( going turbo or not ) rebuilting block cost aprox 2000$ and head is about 400$ depending how damaged i is ! k24 cost betwen 1400 to 3500 depending on wich one . but k24 isint brand new . rebuilt offer more possibilities like forged rods or light wheight one custom pistom size and compression
for telling you wich internal to get you should specified your goal !


for my part if you plan going turbo keep the k20 if you planing staying n/a consider taking k24 or built the k20

thank you man i really apracite it... i really havent decided what i really want. if i should go all motor or not. and sometimes i kinnda dubble think wtf i got myself intoo buying a tye r. lets say id go all motor what would you suggest.

buy the k24

sell the k 20 short block
sell the k 24 head
buy some valves
cheap easy and you won't b dissappointed

I'm with 92civicx on this one. A K24 "Frankenstein" motor wouldn't be a bad choice if you decided to go N/A.
