I have no idea what I need to do with the "Air Boost Valve". I need to pass the CA Visual Inspection.
The only nipple on the intake is for the valve cover. The instructions mention nothing of the air boost valve. AEM is of no help and I am hoping someone here will have this intake and know what I'm talking about.

Nothing eliminates it really, you can just put a little filter on top of it or tee off of the other line coming from the intake pipe.
I have a cheapo intake pipe and it has a little nipple for the valve on it though...
Do you need to have the valve and a vacuum line to pass or can just you put a little filter on the valve?

If the CARB approval does not include eliminating the air boost valve, I'll need to connect it to the intake to pass the visual.
Why the hell would the intake not come with a nipple to connect the vacuum line for the air boost valve?!
anyways, can I just tap it into the valve cover vacuum line?

Yeah, that is the exact same thing, just a bigger hose (all they do is provide filtered air). You should be able to find a tee that has 2 big ends and one small nipple coming off.
Sometimes people report oil going into the intake pipe through that big line, but that seems to only be under very hard driving.
